Wow! I never expected such a course to come of the simple plot I gave to Mr. Hover! This not an easy course and you'll need to use all your course management abilities to shape your shots...particularly off the tee. There are lots of bunkers placed where you need to make sure you land in the proper spot or your ball will roll into them. Most of the PIN locations are placed where the margin of error will result in the ball rolling away from you or right off the green. All in all a very challenging course that is by far one of the best new ones I've played in some time. Thanks...keep up the great work!

To all the designers, give us a break ! We can't keep up with all the great courses that you are releasing, almost every day and/or week...
This course is no exception : quite challenging and well designed, it has plenty of blind tee shots, either uphill or downhill, a few water hazards, some steep elevation and a lot of tricky undulated and/or sloped greens.
This par 72 starts with the very nice left dogleg par-4 1st hole, with a lake on the right side with a couple of trees, partially hiding the downhill green and, after the straight par-3 2nd, with a tee shot over the lake, continues with the short (about 300 yards) left dogleg par-4 3rd hole, where, despite a small lake and a couple of trees on the left side, you should be able to reach the green and have a chance to putt for an eagle.
And you will need it, as the right dogleg par-5 4th hole is quite tough... and beautiful : after hitting a blind tee shot landing downhill in front of two big bunkers on both sides of a steep plateau, you won’t be able to reach the green on your 2nd shot because of trees in the right corner with two big bunkers below !
Thankfully, the straight downhill par-3 5th hole should offer you a birdie opportunity before heading for the par-4 6th where, again, you will hit an uphill blind tee shot before aiming for the downhill green.
After “taking advantage” of the steep uphill par-3 7th hole, where you should have another shot at a birdie, be careful on the par-5 8th hole where, after another blind tee shot landing on a downhill slope (hopefully landing away from the bunkers in the right corner), you will have a tough 3rd shot to reach the very undulated green, while trying to avoid the lake on the right side !
And don’t be fooled by the very short (about 120 yards) par-3 9th hole, where choosing the right club won’t be easy, with a blind uphill shot and the lake, very close behind the sloped green.
The back 9 is no pushover either, after the short par-4 10th hole (about 300 yards), with another blind tee shot over a big mound and a few trees (on the right) and a downhill green, reachable with a 3-wood.
Two left dogleg par-5 holes follow : the 11th, with a big bunker around the left corner, making it tough to reach the elevated green on your second shot, and the 12th hole, with a blind tee shot down the fairway but, with tall trees in the corner, you won’t be able to reach the elevated green on your second shot either !
The par-3 14th hole may look easy, with a tee shot over the lake but you will have to hit your shot past the flag if you don’t want to see your ball roll all the way down in the water (trust me, LOL !), unlike the pretty, and quite tough, right dogleg par-5 16th where, after a blind uphill tee shot, with bunkers in the right corner, you will see the up-and-down fairway and the elevated green further back !
Finally, you will finish your round with the right dogleg par-4 18th hole with a downhill tee shot before reaching the elevated green for a last birdie opportunity.
This Iron Man course is quite... tough, with its rollercoaster fairways, elevated terrain and hard-to-read putts, but it also shows another facet of the talent of Wild Turkey Design. So, before you try it, take my advice: pump some iron !
