This is a very well put together course and plays smooth as well the only problem I found was 1 pin where the ball kept rolling back I think it was hole 8. Even when chipped past the hole on dry greens. Overheads cut off other than that very nice course.

Just my two cents but someone HAS to say it.
Brilliant, simply brilliant. As someone else eluded to, my eyes now have cavities. Game play and yardages are spot on. No lag issues what so ever. A keeper for sure and a standard of excellence and quality that all game course designers should aspire to.

again folks, thankyou very much for the comments. kbracer, i thought long and hard about that placement, and decided to keep it after i played kapalua the day before i released it. on 9th hole, there is a placement on front right which i missed an 8 foot putt and went into the sand, then chipped back past the hole and then putted into the sand again, and i was barely hitting it hard enough to get to the hole. several of the stock courses have a pin placement or 2 like that, and we have no choice but to take them when they come. im sure yall learned from the experience, and if you choose to play the course again, and get that placement, youll know to keep yer approach shot left of pin, and make the putt on first try :) there are 6 pin placements on that hole, 3 easy, 3 hard, so you might not get stuck with that one too often one other thing, ive found that when testing, if i make all my holes so they play fairly easy on very dry, they are just too damn easy on the other conds. so there are some tradeoffs goin on there. (i know yer talkin about dry) anyway, thx again, and sorry to all who get frustrated with some of the pin placements

I was really enjoying this course until the 8th green. We ran into an unplayable pin there in the back right corner(diff pin setting). We were playing with dry green settings and it would not hold. Both of us ended up conceding that hole with a 13, which really spoiled an otherwise enjoyable experience.

I think this one of the best so far in a long line of gr8 courses this year.If you are having probs with distances just play a few practice rounds before you take this baby on.There is definitely a right and wrong way to play this layout

Excellent elevation work with the right amount of smoothing and rough areas (this aint easy). Great use of textures. Fantastic job of planting. And what a ride down 18! Woo hoo!! I would have like to have heard the rushing water (minor suggestion) - the architect library has some good sounds. Great job!

Thanks for the comments folks! Very glad you liked it. As far as the issues with the water, if the water doesnt look like the water in the splash screen, there is something going on. Not sure if its cuz i use an ATI card and yall are usin nvidia or something like that. When ive had issues with water on other courses ive played, i set my water detail to off, then move it up in settings till it looks good, sometimes just changing the setting at all makes its snap into the texture its suposed to be. Im kinda bummed cuz i forgot to send the cls file when i uploaded the course, was using the Eagle Glenn cls file and it works gr8 on my machine. Someday ill figure that stuff out :) anyway, thx again.

I think this is one of the best 2006 custom courses to date. Two things were especially appealing to me. The mountain pano is just stunning and suits the design of this course perfectly. The elevation changes are very realisticly created. I felt that I was playing a true to life course. Wonderful job Typar. One question on my computer all the water appears very dark green. Was this intended, or is there a setting within the game that needs adjustment?

The designer has included a bitmap file for his splash so it will need to be converted to tga to show up in the game
