No one knows the release date but there have been hints about the pricing structure, there is the basic structure where there will be 1 course available and you can just play rounds on it but nothing else will be open eg pro shop , more courses etc, that will be free and then mothly and yearly subscriptions for the rest of the game but pricing has not been set out yet.

Things seem to look a little better each time a new beta comes out.

So TWO is $10 a month, $60 for a year, and beta testers an extra 1500 points. What are these points for anyway?

I would pay $60 for the game, if it came with a CA, TBMP, GF, and Sim Mode. Right now the game has none of that.

Beta testers get 3000 points.....$5/month isn't going to kill my budget....

Looks like the points are for some Proshop items and green fees for most tourneys.

I agree, I will pay 60 for the year, after these items are implemented. But I think that should be it, 60 for the year and everything is free, I dont see all these microtransaction thingys. One fee, one year, everything included..
Giddyup! Oh yeah, like there really going to listen. LMAO

From various forums it looks like the points are for the Pro Shop only. But for what? Magic pants? Puhlease.

Let me use the points to buy a CA, a GF, a TBMP and a Sim Mode.

Seems to have been a huge waste of time and effort on EA's part, this is destined to flop big time i think. No CA = very few existing players will be interested, and from what I've heard of the gameplay they haven't improved on TW08, just the reverse.

I think it really sucks that we few are going to be left in the dust. I tried and I tried to like the new game, but can't find it in me to do so. I wish the best to those that play it. Now the rest of us will be just like those of past games like Links and Golden Bear, etc. We will be hanging on to the old game until some company - hopefully - gives us something better.

heavy sigh . . . . .

It is apparent even though EA said they listened to what we wanted, they really didn't seem to care.

I played 2 rounds at St Andrews today and I have to say what a disappointment. The green grid is very poor with very little detail so putting is a bit hit and miss. The first round I played was on default settings and it was like putting through mud. When I figured out how to change settings it was a bit better but no comparison to 08.

As a British player there is no way i'm going to be paying £44.99 a year . Goodbye Tiger Woods it was good while it lasted.
