How To Change the Flag in TW2002-2006:

For TW2002-2006 courses:

Note: If you do not see the 3 letters dds at the end of your flag filename, it means that Windows is hiding the file extension for those files.  You will need to fix this PRIOR TO renaming your file to flag.dds in order for the flag to work.  To do this, double click on My Computer, click on Tools, Folder Options and then select the View tab.  Slide down the list until you see Hide Extensions for Known File Types.  Make sure this option is UNCHECKED.  Click OK to close out of this box.  When you go back to your flag file, you should now see the dds extension at the end.  Rename the file to flag.dds and it should work.

For PGA 2000 converted courses (;used in TW2002/2003):
Courses converted from PGA2000 initially are all placed in a single PGA Converted folder. No flag is initially present in this folder. Take one of the flags from this site, place it in the PGA Converted folder and rename it to flag.dds. This flag will be used for ALL converted courses.

You can set up individual directories for converted courses once
they have been converted so that each course will have its own flag. Move the converted files for a particular course into a separate folder and use the Course Utilities program that comes with TW2002/2003 to point to the new file location. Then you can place a flag from The Flag Depot into that folder, rename it to flag.dds and it will appear in the converted course.
