Hi, don't know f this will help anyone who keeps losing sound in game, it was happening to me daily so I done a bit of searching & found that my fridge freezer was on the same loop as my pc and every time it kicked on it killed my sound, until I restarted TW08 from the start, so I changed things around and now all good, hope it works for you
